Recovering the ancient tradition of the glass masters, and probably by the most ancient forefather, Varisco Varischi, Marco (fig.1) was the first to experience (in the Thirties) the glass engraving technique and then hands it down to his son Marco, together with respect and love for the land and the fire which change in substance. Glass master, in the forties he was awarded at the Glass Pilot School of Murano (fig.2). Then he moved from Murano, in the Venetian hinterland, to Treviso, among "calm waters" and the uncertain shine of surviving "facade frescos", where his son Italo's wonderful creative adventure starts.
It Would be unjust to forget the tradition that Italo has fully employed, particularly in relation to the person who first applied this glass engraving technique. We are talking of his father Marco, who was awarded the gold medal by the experimental glassmaking school of Murano in 1938 and 1941 testifying to the fact that he was already experimenting this art, subsequently revealing the secret to his son Italo. Italo Varisco, born in Murano and raised in the workshop of his fatter, Marco, is simply a great artist who has learned to understand and dominate glass. Every day the miracles of the creation of a and -crafted new work is repeated, expressing the spirit of the person.

When he creates, his hands become one witch the material, making designs appear that are unique and peerless, objects with pure, elegantly imaginative lines. A time-honored tradition should never be repudiated and that is why Marco junior has decided to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, since he also has the artistic tendency in his veins as well as the artist's soul. Marco is the symbol of artistic continuity, taking up old traditions which modern society has by now neutralized. Marco on the other hand, is young and has talent, imagination and a great desire to create.
